We could always use the extra help. Why not volunteer to serve in our church:
Or you could donate to one of these ministries.

This month we tithed to members of our congregation who we felt would be blessed by a little help. We also support a creche in Mashishimale and provided a bit of help for them during the month of November, and provided for a Christmas party / year end for the 48 children currently at the center. We also regularly support the Bougainvilla Frailcare Center.
If you are in need of assistance, or manage a charity or ministry that needs support, please reach out at info@phbmethodistchurch.co.za.

We have launched a fantastic new outreach project called GrowBag. These bags are a sustainable way of farming with little to no resources. A grain bag, mieliemeal bag or dog food bag is used and filled with healthy soil, some sand mixed with manure or potting soil or compost. Two holes are made and a half 2l coke bottle is inserted into the holes as a water inlet. Holes are then cut around the long edge of the bags for the seeds or seedlings. Grey water is used to water the vegetables, like washing water, dishes water, or water from the basin. Seeds will be sourced from organisations that donate seeds to ministries like this.
When the vegetables have been harvested, the bag is turned over and repeated on the other side. The soil is then tipped out into a compost heap and the bag is reused with new soil for a new crop.
This system is sustainable in that it uses less water, less soil, less toiling, less labour and it does not require a lot of space.
OUR PASSION IS THAT NO PERSON GO HUNGRY
